Corvus Chrono Humphries was a dynamic man and leader. Everywhere he went he inspired others to be better and acheive their goals. Corvus accomplished a lot in such a short span of just 20 years. From learning t'ai chi at the age of 11 to designing graphic comic books by 13, this young man was well on his way to greater destinies.

Corvus Humphries - A Brief History

Corvus Chrono Humphries was a dynamic man and leader. Everywhere he went he inspired others to be better and acheive their goals. Corvus accomplished a lot in such a short span of just 20 years. From learning t'ai chi at the age of 11 to designing graphic comic books by 13, this young man was well on his way to greater destinies.

From The Beginning

Corvus Walter Humphries was born on May 23, 1996 to Walter and Reva Humphries. Corvus attended Chicago International Charter School Wrightwood Campus, where he excelled and graduated with honors. Corvus got the media bug early in life. He would deliver the Wrightwood School's Morning Address on a regular basis. Corvus also attended Chicago Bulls College Prep for two years and then transferred to Innovations High School. Corvus excelled at Innovations. He joined the Poetry Team (Young Chicago Authors) under the direction of Mrs. Cotirla. He competed along with his Poetry team that won 2nd place in the "Louder Than A Bomb" poetry slam and Corvus's picture still hangs on the walls of the school today from that event. He also joined the media program that dealt with video and studio recording. Corvus helped to produce the 2016 Innovations admissions video.
Corvus was a graphic designer and artist who taught himself Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Corvus would create his own comic books and T-shirts as well as design for others. Corvus studied Business at Harold Washington College while still in HIgh School and Studied Mixed Media and Art at the After School Matters program. A big part of Corvus's life was music and rapping. Corvus would attend the Youmedia Program at the Harold Washington Library daily. One of his inspirations from the Youmedia was "Chance the Rapper". Chance the rapper was an inspiration to Corvus, he would make the family listen to Chance the Rapper's songs,becuase he believed that one day he would follow in the rappers footsteps. He constantly would tell the family that one day he was about to "blow up" Corvus worked at Elite Staffing as a Warehouse Packer.
